Software at Penn State Mont Alto: Imagine

Microsoft Imagine is a licensing program provided by Penn State Mont Alto, funded by the Information Technology Fee, which allows all students, faculty, and staff to use various Microsoft software products for academic and non-profit research purposes.

Imagine can be accessed at http://pennstatemontalto.onthehub.com/

Please note that this service is available to Penn State Mont Alto students, faculty, and staff only.  If you are a student at another Penn State location, your campus or college would need to have purchased a separate Imagine license to participate in the program and we recommend you contact your campus or college IT representatives in order to confirm your eligibility.

Account Questions - Students

Q: When will my Imagine account be ready for use?

All Imagine accounts are created approximately two weeks into the fall semester.  You will receive an account creation or account reactivation e-mail with further instructions.

Q: I have lost or did not receive an e-mail regarding my Imagine account.  What should I do?

First check your spam folder.  Imagine e-mails do not come from an @ psu.edu address and are occasionally flagged as spam.  It's also possible you were not part of the bulk user import, as the occasional individual is missed from time to time.  If you can not locate the Imagine notification, please send us an e-mail to [email protected] and we can send you another.

Q: What is my Imagine username?

Unlike logging into a Penn State system, your Imagine username is your full e-mail address (i.e. abc123 @ psu . edu).

Q: What should I do if I don't remember my Imagine password?

You have two options should you forget your password.  The Imagine login page has a password reset function which if you enter your e-mail address, Imagine will reset and e-mail you a new password.  Alternatively, you can send an e-mail to [email protected] and we can reset your password for you.

Q: How long will my Imagine account remain active?

All student accounts will remain active through the fall and spring semesters.  Specific expiration dates vary but usually fall on the last Friday in May.
