Exam Proctoring: Penn State Mont Alto students enrolled in online non-Mont Alto Penn State courses

The Testing Center in the Academic Support Center accommodates the proctoring needs of Penn State Mont Alto students enrolled in Penn State (non-Mont Alto) online courses.

All Penn State (non-Mont Alto) online course exams should be scheduled by following the procedure below:

  1. Provide the Penn State Mont Alto testing site as your proctoring location to the Penn State online instructor.
  2. Contact ASC Testing Center Proctor at least 2 weeks in advance of the exam date to determine proctor availability and schedule exam.  Available hours for scheduling an exam are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. of the academic year. Upon confirming availability, the student will schedule the proctoring time on psu.mywconline.com - the ASC's scheduling site.
  3. At the time of the exam, the student will need to bring their Penn State student ID card and materials needed for the exam to 101F General Studies Building on Penn State’s Mont Alto campus. Students should not bring any items that are not specifically directed for the exam.
  4. While test taking, students are expected to uphold the principles of academic integrity.  Questionable behavior that may be assumed to have an intention of violating these principles will be reported to the course instructor.
