Lion Ambassadors bake muffins and cupcakes during a service project with the Nittany Lion's help

Lion Ambassadors serve Ronald McDonald House

Penn State Mont Alto Lion Ambassadors have a yearly opportunity to participate in community-service at the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey.

After donating cleaning supplies, the group cleans the children’s playroom and eating areas.  The students also make cupcakes, cookies, and other baked items for the families in residence. Of course, the Nittany Lion helps with baking tips and greeting incoming guests.

Ambassador Arly Arriaga enjoys the opportunity: "I'm very glad that I got the opportunity to volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Cleaning and baking isn't bad when you're doing it for a great cause. It was so much fun and I'm glad I did it with my friends in Lion Ambassadors."

Following their time at the Ronald McDonald House, the group tours the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
