All campus guests and visitors must follow all COVID-19 safety protocols in place at the time of the visit, including masking guidelines. At this time and until further notice, masks are required in all University buildings regardless of vaccinations status. If you are unable to wear a mask, we encourage you to visit us virtually.

As an accepted student, you have the option of scheduling a personalized campus visit. During your visit, you'll attend a class, meet some faculty, and have a one-on-one appointment with the admissions team that includes a discussion with student aid that focuses on your questions and needs. This visit is 100 percent about you.

To schedule your visit, email Eliel Acosta, admissions counselor.

Transferring to Penn State Mont Alto

If you're considering a transfer to Penn State Mont Alto, we're here to help you succeed. As a Penn Stater at Mont Alto, you'll have access to all the resources of Penn State -- that's 8,500 faculty available to help you with research, lab work, fieldwork and clinical experiences, and mentoring.

Am I a Transfer Student? Good question, if you have completed 18 or more semester credits at a college or university after high school graduation for GED completion, you are a transfer student.

Dual Enrollment

Penn State offers dual enrollment to high school students who would like to attend the Mont Alto campus to take college courses. This is a great opportunity for students to experience college-level coursework and earn credits before their high school graduation.

Credits earned can be applied to a Penn State degree and are part of one transcript recognized at all Penn State campuses. Dual enrollment credit may also be transferred to another college or university.
