On May 4, Forestry Instructors Craig Houghton and Beth Brantley took time from grading papers during finals week to assist former forestry student, Brett Reichard ’16, to plant a tree in the memory of his grandfather, Gerald W. Reichard, who passed away in October 2016.

The Invent Penn State initiative announced the awarding of four $50,000 seed grants to develop additional innovation hubs to jump-start entrepreneurial activities in campus communities across the Commonwealth. Awarded by a competitive selection process, the four grants will go to the Brandywine, Fayette, Mont Alto and Worthington Scranton campuses.

During the week of June 5-8, Penn State Mont Alto's Division of Undergraduate Studies hosted the first week of New Student Orientation for the summer, giving new students who are enrolled for fall 2017 a jump-start to the school year.
