To provide an inclusive sense of the Mont Alto community on the issue of tobacco-free campuses. Students in an integrated English 15 and Statistics 100 course, in coordination with SGA, have undertaken a campus-wide survey that is soliciting the opinions of all members of the campus community ― students, faculty, and staff.
To commemorate Constitution Day, Penn State Mont Alto will host a Campus Symposium, titled “What Should We Do About Immigration?” at 12:20 p.m. Sept. 19 in the Wiestling Student Center on campus. The StudenGovernment Association will hand out pocket U.S. Constitutions. The event is free and open to the public.
Old Main's bell — its chimes long replaced by modern technology — was removed and restored as a gift of Penn State’s class of 2009, and is now displayed outdoors at ground level near Old Main’s southwest corner.
Students who are new to Penn State and all students living in University housing are reminded that they must submit their immunization records using myUHS through a new three-step process. As part of this process, students who do not submit their immunization records prior to Sept. 15 will be unable to register for spring 2017 classes.
