MONT ALTO, Pa. ―On Nov. 29, Penn State Mont Alto will participate in #GivingTuesday, a national day that celebrates the power of giving back. During the 24-hour period, all online gifts made to Mont Alto at giveto.psu.edu/givingtuesday will support its 12 varsity sports and be matched dollar-for-dollar by Mont Alto alumni Bill Hoover, 1966, and Jim Ingram, 1979 and 1983, and Barbara Ingram, 1985.
Mont Alto joins this University-wide #GivingTuesday effort along with other Penn State colleges and campuses presenting their own fundraising challenges.
#GivingTuesday gives students, faculty, alumni, parents, friends and fans the opportunity to support current students and show the world that Penn Staters have heart.
Supporters are also encouraged to spread the word about #GivingTuesday and their support on social media by using the hashtag #PSUGivingTue on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
