Provost provides update on University's coronavirus actions

Penn State Executive Vice President and Provost Nicholas P. Jones has shared a message updating the University community on steps being taken to monitor the evolving worldwide coronavirus outbreak and prepare for the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Take the Penn State Community Survey beginning Feb. 3

On Feb. 3, all students, faculty and staff members at every Penn State campus location will receive an email to take the Penn State Community Survey to share their attitudes and experiences of community, diversity and inclusion at Penn State. Every 100 survey takers will have a chance to win an Amazon or Starbucks gift card.
Guard Friendly Award

Penn State Mont Alto named Guard Friendly school

Penn State Mont Alto was recognized as a “Guard Friendly School” by the Pennsylvania National Guard Associations during its annual conference on Nov. 8 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The University is one of 30 inaugural winners selected from more than 480 eligible schools that receive Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Program Funds and the only college recognized in Franklin County.
Mont Alto Renaissance Dinner

Mont Alto Renaissance Fund Dinner raises $60K

About 100 family members, friends and regional business leaders gathered in the Multipurpose Activities Center at Penn State Mont Alto on April 12 to honor Mike and Donna Ross and join in the establishment of a Renaissance Fund Scholarship. Together, they raised $60,190 that will support academically talented Penn State students with financial need in perpetuity.
