Penn State Mont Alto conducts annual Clery Act training
On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Penn State Mont Alto’s Crisis Management Team conducted its annual Clery Act training.
The training, which is federally mandated, mirrors a real-life emergency and requires the campus’ crisis team to think through their response including emergency alert notifications to the campus community and a campus lockdown, communication with families, the media and the community, and partnering with local law enforcement.
The annual exercise, which each Penn State campus is required to participate in, is part of the University’s Clery Act compliance, in addition to distributing annual security reports.
