Penn State Mont Alto faculty recently gathered to spotlight their dynamic scholarship and creative endeavors during the 2025 Faculty Research Showcase, held at the Mont Alto Library.
“Penn State Mont Alto is one of the most generous communities I know,” said Jay Arcuri, chief student affairs officer and director of student affairs at Penn State Mont Alto. “Our students, faculty and staff consistently respond whenever a need or opportunity to give back arises. I feel truly humbled to be part of such an amazing community."
The Penn State Mont Alto Annual Day of Service took place in April, with more than 110 students, community members, faculty and staff. The volunteers worked together to tackle campus clean-up projects as well as several community service outreach projects.
Penn State University Libraries presented the 2025 Undergraduate Research Awards: Excellence in Information Literacy honors to 104 students at 20 undergraduate Penn State campuses this spring.
Swipe Out Hunger will run from Sunday, April 20, through the end of the spring 2025 semester for students to continue to donate their leftover dining dollars.
As a land-grant research library system, Penn State University Libraries provides all Pennsylvania residents with borrowing privileges for their collections. MedCamp 2025, to be held June 23-27 at Penn State Mont Alto, offers high-achieving ninth and 10th graders hands-on medical experiences, exclusive field trips, and career exploration in various health care fields; apply by April 18. Mont Alto also is hosting summer sports camps, including soccer and volleyball clinics.
Penn State Mont Alto clinched its first conference championship since 2020, securing a USCAA Tournament berth after defeating Penn State DuBois in a rematch of the 2024 PSUAC Quarterfinals.
