Commonwealth Campus websites receive modern look, comprehensive update

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A new look and feel will greet visitors to Penn State’s Commonwealth Campus websites beginning June 21.

The refreshed websites, which apply to each of the University’s Commonwealth Campuses, are the result of in-depth research on user needs and best practices, resulting in modern, mobile-friendly and engaging sites that highlight the power of Penn State’s campus communities. Commonwealth Campus websites now utilize improved navigation and digital strategy to enhance the ability of each campus to engage with its campus community and key audiences, including prospective students.

Each Commonwealth Campus website now also visually and strategically aligns with Penn State’s main website, as well as Penn State News, the official news source for the University that serves millions of readers annually. The University’s Commonwealth Campus websites are now among the first to use Penn State’s new web toolkit.

These latest updates are the result of a partnership between information technology staff in the Office of the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses, the Office of Strategic Communications, and communications staff members and web liaisons at the University’s Commonwealth Campuses.
