MONT ALTO, Pa. ― On Feb. 25, about 70 Penn Staters and supporters gathered at Jan Zell Wines in Chambersburg, Pa., for a Penn State Wine Tasting Party, sponsored the Franklin County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association.

The evening was supported by Penn State Mont Alto’s Alumni Office and included food, door prizes, acoustic guitar music and, of course, an appearance by the Penn State Nittany Lion!

“This is the biggest, most energetic crowd we have had in our tasting room since we opened nearly two years ago,” said winery owners Arnie and Laura Jansen. “We hope to have you back soon!”

Alumni and friends can also participate in the 26th Annual Golf Tournament and Sports Banquet, on May 25, at the Penn National Golf Club and Inn. To register your foursome or for more information, contact Matt Berger at [email protected]
