New staff members at Penn State Mont Alto

David Beardsley, Lisa DeGregorio, Curtis Hoover and Anne Miller have joined the staff at Penn State Mont Alto.

MONT ALTO, Pa. ― Four new staff members have joined Penn State Mont Alto.

David Beardsley is the human resources strategic partner. He most recently served as a human resource (HR) analyst and Labor Relations Division supervisor with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he supervised and guided a team of HR analysts responsible for the agency’s labor relations program. His experience also includes serving as an HR analyst for Labor Relations with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and serving as the staffing manager for Robert Health International in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He will oversee human resource functions at the Penn State Harrisburg, York, Dickinson, and Mont Alto campuses.

Lisa DeGregorio is the student affairs staff assistant/veterans certifying official. She most recently was employed in purchasing/accounts payable for the South Middleton School District in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, where she served as the district office secretary. DeGregorio has completed the Certified Professional Secretary program at Harrisburg Area Community College.

Curtis Hoover is the director of student affairs. For the past four years, Hoover worked as the campus director at Coppin State University, in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was previously employed at American University in Washington, D.C., as well as Northeastern University, Suffolk University, and Emerson College in Boston, Mass. He earned a master’s degree in educational leadership and cultural foundations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Greensboro, North Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree in English/writing from High Point University, in High Point, North Carolina.

Anne Miller is the director of finance and business. Miller was most recently the business manager for the Tuscarora School District. She has previous business operations management experience with the Carlisle Area and Fannett Metal School Districts. She has also served as purchasing controller at Volvo Powertrain North America in Hagerstown, Maryland. Miller holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Penn State.
