Committee advances proposal to sell Mont Alto property

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning moved forward a proposal today (Feb. 18) to sell a property at Penn State Mont Alto for $121,000. The full board will consider the measure at its meeting on Feb. 19.

The property, 5 Willow St. in Mont Alto, sits on a half-acre and includes a two-story, 960-square-foot residence that adjoins the Penn State Mont Alto campus. The University purchased the property in December 2012 for potential expansion opportunities for the campus and no longer needs the property as part of its expansion plans.
