The Lion’s Pantry's mission is to address and mitigate student hunger on campus.
About
The Lion’s Pantry at Penn State Mont Alto was established in 2019 to mitigate the increasing concern of student food insecurity. The Lion’s Pantry is restocked monthly and available free of charge to all Penn State Mont Alto students, thanks to a generous endowment established by Marilynne Stout.
Students facing food insecurities can stop by the Lion’s Pantry (recently relocated to WSC 1st Floor) during WSC open hours (listed below) to obtain non-perishable food/snack items and a variety of personal hygiene items. Thanks to a generous donation, a freezer has been purchased, so the Lion’s Pantry is now able to stock a variety of frozen foods!
If you are struggling with food insecurity, be empowered to take what you need from the Lion’s Pantry. You deserve to know where your next meal is coming from.
