Endowed Scholarships 

Scholarships are monies you do not have to pay back. All students are considered for University-wide scholarships (a few academic colleges may require a separate application). Incoming first-year students are automatically considered for Penn State Mont Alto scholarships. 

Eligibility for scholarships is often based on merit and in many cases financial need.  Below you will find a listing of endowed scholarships that are available for Penn State Mont Alto students. 

JOE W. & CAROLYN A. AUSHERMAN TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students who have achieved positive academic records and have proven financial need.  First preference shall be given to students in the eligible pool who have graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School. 

BARKDOLL FAMILY OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto, who are participating in Open Doors Programs or students who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet the necessary college expenses.  

BARTLETT TREE FOUNDATION AWARD  
Consideration is given to full- and part-time students enrolled or planning to enroll in the majors of Forest Technology who have achieved superior academic records and have demonstrated interest in a career in arboriculture or urban forestry. (By application per forestry faculty – Oct/Nov)  

HOPE M. BEARD TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who are majoring in Nursing with demonstrated financial need. 

JOHN F. BENCHOFF TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and demonstrate financial need. 

DOLORES K. BRAKE NURSING SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all Penn State Mont Alto undergraduate Nursing students who have achieved a superior academic record and have demonstrated financial need and whose permanent residence is in Franklin County. 

AUDREY D. & KENTON H. BROYLES TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and demonstrate financial need. 

HOLLIS and DOROTHY BROYLES SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration is given to full-time students enrolled or planning to enroll who have achieved superior academic records, have financial needs, and are graduates of Waynesboro Area Senior High School, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.  

GEORGE P. & MARTHA B. BUCKEY ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto and who plan to pursue a degree in engineering.  Students should have achieved superior academic records and promise of outstanding academic success. 

MARTHA and GEORGE BUCKEY - TELEDYNE LANDIS MACHINE SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration is given to undergraduate students pursuing studies at Penn State Mont Alto.First preference to students who are children or grandchildren of employees or retirees of the Teledyne Specialty Equipment, Landis Machine Co. in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who have achieved positive academic records and have a financial need.Second preference to graduates of Waynesboro Area School District.Third preference for Franklin County, Pennsylvania, high school graduates. 

JOHN R. and MARION G. CAMPBELL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to full-and part-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success and who have proven financial need.First preference shall go to Franklin County, Pennsylvania, students majoring in Engineering; second preference to Franklin County students majoring in science. 

ALAN & ANNA CATANOSO SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all full-time, undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records and have a proven financial need.First preference shall be given to students majoring in Landscape Contracting.Second preference shall be given to students pursuing a major in Horticulture.Third preference shall be given to students majoring in an agricultural-related major.  

CENTURYLINK ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding success and who have a demonstrated financial need.   

HENRY H. CHISMAN MEMORIAL AWARD  
Consideration for this award shall be given to students completing their first year of Forest Technology who have demonstrated their personal integrity, resourcefulness, and good citizenship, and who have a cumulative grade-point average of 2.5.   

HENRY E. CLEPPER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration is given to full-time freshmen and sophomores currently enrolled or planning to enroll in the Mont Alto Honors Program, and who have achieved outstanding academic records and have a proven financial need. 

CUMBERLAND VALLEY TREE SERVICE LANDSCAPING OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto, who are participating in Open Doors Programs, or students who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet the necessary college expenses. 

GARY G. & BRENDA S. CUMMINGS SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet the necessary college expenses.  From the identified pool of eligible recipients and to the extent possible, preferences shall be given to eligible recipients in the following order:  First preference shall be given to students who are majoring in or planning to major in engineering or successor degree program.  Second preference shall be given to students who are majoring or planning to major in a degree program that focuses on science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).  

PATRICK D. DILL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration is given to all freshmen students currently enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are graduates of the Waynesboro Area Senior High School. 

NANCI JO DIXON MEMORIAL & PENN STATE MONT ALTO FORESTRY CLASS OF 1960 SCHOLARSHIP FOR FORESTRY STUDENTS 
Consideration for this award shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records and who are studying forestry. 

DR. FRANK J. KRISTINE, JR AND DR. JAMES P. HAMILTON III EDUCATIONAL EQUITY SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled or who plan to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have a demonstrated financial need to meet their necessary college expenses and whose gender, ethnic, cultural, and/or national background contribute to the diversity of the student body. 

PAGE & CINDY H. ETCHISON TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP
AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need.  Preference is given to students who have graduated from James Buchanan High School and residents of Franklin County. 

SCOTT M. ECKERT MEMORIAL CONSERVATION TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP  
Eligibility for this award is available to undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have financial needs and are enrolled in Forest Technology or Environmental and Renewable Resources 

RANDOLPH E. & PATRICIA A (MCGUIRE) EHRENZELLER OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO  
Consideration for scholarships shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are participating in RaiseMe, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), the Student Transitional Experiences Program ("STEP"), Complete Penn State, or Smart Track to Success, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Programs initiative which provide undergraduate scholarships. First preference shall be given to students who are participants in Complete Penn State. 

F & M TRUST COMPANY SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration is given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto pursuing a degree in Business or Finance, with a preference given to residents of Franklin or Cumberland Counties, Pennsylvania, and who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success, and who have a proven financial need. 

PAUL M. FELTON SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to part and full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Forest Technology Program at Penn State Mont Alto, or successor program/academic unit, who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

FIRST COMMUNITY BANK OF MERCERSBURG OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto, who are participating in Open Doors Programs, or students who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet the necessary college expenses. First preference shall be given to students who are participants in Complete Penn State. 

FOUNDERS SOCIETYFUND 
Consideration is given to all students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto as Forest Service majors who have completed at least two semesters of study. Additional criteria are a positive display of leadership, ability, good moral character and reputation, and dedication to obtaining an education. 

ROBERT D. & REBECCA W. FOOR OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are participating in RaiseMe, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), the Student Transitional Experiences Program("STEP"), Complete Penn State, or Smart Track to Success or Successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Programs initiative which provide undergraduate scholarships. First preference shall be given to students who are participants in Complete Penn State. 

FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMUNITY TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need.  First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool who reside in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. 

DANIEL GARBER SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration is given to full- and part-time students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and have a proven financial need.  

DAVID C & M. MARIE GNAGE OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP
AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO  

Consideration for scholarships shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are participating in RaiseMe, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), the Student Transitional Experiences Program ("STEP"), Complete Penn State, or Smart Track to Success, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Programs initiative which provide undergraduate scholarships. MAURICE K. AND ETHEL C. GODDARD SCHOLARSHIP
Consideration is given to students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records and have a proven financial need.First preference is given to students in Forest Technology or Forest Resources.Second preference is given to any Pennsylvania student who meets the above-stated criteria. 

JACK AND BEEB GOOD ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO  |Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students who have achieved positive academic records and have proven financial need. 

GRAHAM FAMILY EDUCATIONAL EQUITY SCHOLARSHIP

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled or who plan to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have a demonstrated financial need to meet their necessary college expenses and whose gender, ethnic, cultural, and/or national background contribute to the diversity of the student body. 

ANDREW J. HARTMAN TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP AT MONT ALTO
Consideration for this scholarship is given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need and who are enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program or successor degree program. 

WILSON G. HERSTINE TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO  
Consideration for this scholarship was given to all students enrolled in the associate or baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved academic success. 

DR. JOAN M. HOCKING TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students who have achieved positive academic records and have proven financial need.  First preference shall be given to students enrolled in the English major with demonstrated financial need. 

DR. WILLIAM L & PEGGY J. HOOVER OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO   
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto, who are participating in Open Doors Programs, or students who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet the necessary college expenses.  

HAROLD ALBERT HUBLER SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration is given to all full- and part-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records or who manifest promise of academic success, and who have a demonstrated financial need.First preference shall be given to students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Landscape Architecture in the College of Arts and Architecture. 

MILES JEFFERSON HUBLER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Consideration for this scholarship will be given to all full- and part-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and have demonstrated financial need.First preference shall be given to students in the College of Engineering. 

JACK INGRAM ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP 
This scholarship is awarded to sophomore students enrolled in Forest Technology at Penn State Mont Alto who have successfully completed the Dendrology course with a 3.0 or better.  

DONALD AND CYNTHIA JACOBY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration is given to all full-time students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and have a proven financial need.   

HAROLD H. JOHNSON MEMORIAL AWARD  
Consideration is given to all full-time sophomore students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto as baccalaureate or associate degree candidates in the Colleges of Engineering or Earth and Mineral Sciences.Students must also be residents of the Penn State Mont Alto service area.Additional criteria include academic standing and membership in professional honorary societies or other evidence of professional aptitude.   

MARTIN AND NAOMI KARP ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records and have a proven financial need. 

JOSEPH T. AND DEBORAH K. KEARSE OPEN DOOR SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are participating in RaiseMe, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program (“PaSSS”), the Student Transitional Experiences Program (“STEP”), Complete Penn State, or Smart Track t to Success, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Programs initiative which provide undergraduate scholarships.

Consideration is given to all second-year undergraduates enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto in the Physical Therapist Assistance Program, who have performed outstanding community service, and who have exhibited some exemplary achievement. 

M &T BANK INFORMATION SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to students enrolled in a program within the College of Information Science and Technology at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records and have proven financial need.  

M & T BANK SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration will be given to all full- and part-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success and who have proven financial need.First preference shall be given to graduates of Waynesboro Area Senior High school or Chambersburg Area Senior High school. Second preference shall be given to graduates of any Franklin County Pennsylvania high school. Third preference shall be given to graduates of any Pennsylvania high school. 

JOHN A. AND KATHRYN S. MINER SCHOLARSHIP FOR OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all full-time outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Honors Program at Penn State Mont Alto. 

BARBARA AND JOSEPH P. MOCK TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need.  First preference shall be given to students majoring in Nursing. 

MONT ALTO ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP IN NURSING 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all students enrolled in the associate or baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved academic success. 

MONT ALTO SCHOLARSHIP FOR RETURNING ADULT STUDENTS  
Consideration is given to full- and part-time adult students (over the age of 24) enrolled or planning to enroll in an associate or baccalaureate degree program at Penn State Mont Alto who manifest promise of outstanding academic success and have a proven financial need.

T.K. NITTERHOUSE TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need.  First preference shall be given to Nursing students who have demonstrated financial need. 

H. LESTER OYLER ESTATE TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all Penn State Mont Alto students who have demonstrated financial need.  First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pools whose permanent residence is in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. 

OYLER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to part-time or full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto, who have achieved positive academic records and who have demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to students who have graduated from Chambersburg Area High or successor high school in Chambersburg, PA.  

ELLEN K. PALMER SCHOLARSHIP AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved outstanding academic records or who manifest promise of academic success. First preference shall be given to eligible recipients who have served or are serving in the United States military, which shall be inclusive of those who were veterans, active duty, reservists, or National Guard. Second preference shall be given to eligible recipients whose home address of record is in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. 

PENN NATIONAL GOLF COURSE COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration will be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the associate or baccalaureate degree program in Nursing at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success.First preference shall be given to residents of Franklin, Fulton, or Adams Counties in Pennsylvania or Washington County, Maryland. 

PENN STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION FRANKLIN COUNTY CHAPTER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration is given to all full-time undergraduates currently enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records, have a proven financial need, and whose home address of record is in Franklin County, PA . 

PENN STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and have a proven financial need.  

PENN STATE MONT ALTO ADVISORY BOARD TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need. 

PENN STATE MONT ALTO ALUMNI TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need.  First preference is given to those students who demonstrate leadership in campus activities or organizations. 

PENN STATE MONT ALTO FACULTY AND STAFF ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Consideration for this scholarship is given to students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records and who have proven financial need.  

PENN STATE MONT ALTO FORESTRY CLASS OF 1958 OPEN DOORS SCHOLARSHIP   
Consideration for scholarships shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are participating in RaiseMe, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), the Student Transitional Experiences Program ("STEP"), Complete Penn State, or Smart Track to Success, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Programs initiative which provide undergraduate scholarships. DOROTHY SCRUGGS PLUMMER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration is given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and have a proven financial need. First preference is given to Franklin County, Pennsylvania, residents majoring in Journalism, Liberal Arts, or Education.Second preference will be given to any  Franklin County, Pennsylvania, resident. 

KENNETH AND ANNA PRYOR ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to full- and part-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have manifested promise of outstanding success and have a proven financial need.First preference is given to students in the physical therapist assistant program.Second preference is given to students in the occupational therapy assistant program. Third preference is given to students in the Nursing program. 

KENNETH AND ANNA PRYOR SCHOLARSHIP IN NURSING  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to full- and part-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who manifest promise of academic success and have a proven financial need. First preference is given to Franklin County residents majoring in either the associate or baccalaureate degree in Nursing. 

ROLAND JOSEPH RIEBOLD & MYRTLE O'CONNELL RIEBOLD SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto majoring in forestry as either associate degree or baccalaureate degree candidates and who have a proven need for financial assistance to meet their necessary college expenses. 

RICHARD E. ROSEMEMORIAL AWARD 
Consideration is given to all students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are studying forestry or game management. 

ROBERT H. RUMLER & DANIEL AND SARA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records, have a proven financial need, and reside in Franklin County, PA.  First preference shall be given to Franklin County, PA residents studying or planning to study agricultural science. 

NANCY L. SAVAGE TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship was given to students who demonstrated financial need and who were enrolled in the Penn State Mont Alto nursing program.  

JOHN Z. AND PAULINE K. SHEARER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State Mont Alto and who have achieved positive academic records or who manifest promise of academic success and have a proven financial need. 

JOHN AND PAULINE SHEARER TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records and have proven financial need. 

VERNON L. AND R. ELAINE SHOCKLEY SCHOLARSHIP FOR OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Honors Program at Penn State Mont Alto.  

FRANK A. AND ELIZABETH C. SPEARY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full- or part-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved positive academic records or who manifest promise of academic success, and who have a proven financial need. 

FRANK AND LEONORE H. SPEAREY SCHOLARSHIP IN FOREST RESOURCES AT MONT ALTO  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students pursuing studies at Penn State Mont Alto.Preference will be given to students who intend to pursue a four-year degree program in the School of Forest Resources regardless of the Penn State campus at which the degree is completed.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who are United States Military students. "United States Military Students" shall be inclusive of veterans, active-duty reservists, or National Guard.

STEVENSON FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FOR ANIMAL WELFARE IN MEMORY OF MISS GILL LEAMAN
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students majoring in or planning to major in an animal-related degree program at Penn State Mont Alto, or successor academic unit, who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

JEFFREY E. AND MARGARET L. STOUFFER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses. First preference shall be given to students who are majoring or planning to major in a degree program in education, business, and /or allied health.    

WILLIAM L. STOUT FAMILY MEMORIAL TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need.  

TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have demonstrated financial need. 

FRANCIS H. WALLACE MEMORIAL AWARD
C
onsideration for this award is given to all students who are residents of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Lebanon Counties in Pennsylvania, and currently enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto in the forestry curriculum; the second preference shall be given to students who are residents of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Lebanon Counties and enrolled in any curriculum other than forestry; and third preference shall be given to all other students enrolled at Penn State Mont Alto in the forestry curriculum. 

FRANK JOHN WAWRYNOVIC SCHOLARSHIP IN FOREST RESOURCES AT MONT ALTO  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding success and who have a proven financial need.First preference will be given to Centre County and Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, students enrolled or planning to enroll in the School of Forest Resources.Second preference will be given to all students enrolled or planning to enroll in the School of Forest Resources. 

BARBARA JEAN WAWRYNOVIC MEMORIAL ALLIED HEALTH ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto in an allied health program who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding success and who have a demonstrated financial need.First preference shall be given to students from Centre County or Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, enrolled or planning to enroll in an allied health program.Second preference shall be given to all students enrolled or planning to enroll in an allied health program. 

DONALD E. WERMLINGER SCHOLARSHIP FOR FORESTRY STUDENTS AT PENN STATE MONT ALTO 
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students majoring in or planning to major in Forest Technology at Penn State Mont Alto who have a demonstrated financial need. 

PAUL E. WHITE AND RACHEL W. WHITE AWARD 
Consideration for this scholarship is given to full-time Penn State Mont Alto students who have demonstrated financial need and who are residents of either Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, or Perry counties in Pennsylvania.  

HAROLD H. AND DOROTHY F. WOLFINGER EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP 
This scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the Forestry Program at Penn State Mont Alto who achieved superior academic success. 

EDWIN A. ZIEGLER AND JOHN T. AUTEN AND JOSEPHINE ZIEGLER AUTEN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP  
Consideration for this scholarship is given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Mont Alto who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success, and who have a proven financial need.
