History of Mont Alto Distinguished Fellows
The Distinguished Fellow Recognition Award originated from the Penn State Mont Alto’s Campus Centennial Celebration held in 2004. To commemorate this milestone in the campus’s history, 100 Mont Alto alumni were selected and honored as Centennial Fellows. These Fellows were selected for their outstanding contributions to their respective professional careers, their industries, and their local communities following their graduation from Penn State.
To perpetuate this important alumni recognition milestone, Penn State Mont Alto continues to annually recognize select alumni as Distinguished Fellows. Distinguished Fellow selection continues to be based on alumni’s outstanding achievement following their graduation from Penn State, including their contributions to their respective professional careers, their industries, and their local communities.
