Penn State Mont Alto celebrated its 120th Anniversary in September 2023 with a campus wide celebration that included 200 alumni returning campus. The day long reunion featured historical presentations from the campus library archives and tours of new campus facilities and classroom buildings, plus demonstrations by the campus woodsmen team. The afternoon included some friendly alumni competitions with our students from the woodsmen team. The day culminated with a professional Lumber Jack & Jill exhibition featuring Mont Alto alumni.
During the reunion, more than $70,000 was raised to endow a new campus Woodsmen Team program endowment that will help underwrite the travel and equipment needs of the Mont Alto Woodsmen Team.
