Alternative Spring Break

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a highly immersive week of service projects, leadership-building and relationship-building. It gives college students the chance to make an impact on the lives of others and learn more about the challenges and opportunities facing different communities.

ASB strives to inspire and educate a diverse group of Penn State students through service and reflection in order to promote personal growth and active citizenship.

Opportunities

In 2020, Penn State Mont Alto is providing two different Alternative Spring Break experiences: Montréal and Pittsburgh. While one is out of the country and one is in-state, both trips will allow participating students to broaden their horizons.

  • Montréal

  • Pittsburgh

When / how do students need to apply?
