During Penn State Mont Alto’s spring 2019 Evening Talk and Star Party Series, faculty and staff will share their experiences and expertise in a diverse collection of topics, from immunotherapy to rabbit husbandry and music. The talks, set for Feb. 6, March 13 and April 3, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the General Studies Auditorium and are free of charge and open to the public.
Edward Hipkiss, lecturer in biology, will give the first of three Evening Talks during spring term at Penn State Mont Alto. The talks highlight faculty research and are followed, weather permitting, by star parties with telescope viewing and night-sky tours led by Kimberly Herrmann, associate professor in physics and astronomy.
U.S. Rep. John Joyce visited Penn State Mont Alto on Jan. 11, to help him better understand healthcare education in the region. He was recently sworn into the House of Representatives for the 13th Congressional District.
