Emergency call boxes on campus use blue lights when activated.
Emergency Call boxes are located outside on the walkway adjacent to the MAC Building and Campus Drive, Red Lot 1, by the General Studies Building, and at the office of the University Police. A new call box is currently being installed on the sidewalk by the softball field along Slabtown Road. When a call box is activated, you will be connected to the Franklin County Department of Emergency Services who will notify the police to respond.
There are also call boxes located at each of the main residence hall entrances. Police Services can be contacted by dialing 6070 on these phones. The large red button on the call box is an emergency button that will connect you directly with University Police.
