On April 24, Penn State Mont Alto theater students will perform an educational puppet show for preschool-aged children, 3- to 5-year-olds, about dog safety, recycling and bullying. The show will be presented from 4 to 4:30 p.m. at the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA located at 570 East McKinley Street in Chambersburg. It is open to the public and free of charge.

Longtime Penn State Mont Alto Director of Athletics Robert "Marty" Ogle died on Friday, March 29, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Ogle served as the Mont Alto athletic director for 28 years before retiring in June of 2016.
Seventy-two Penn State Mont Alto students will display and present their best academic and artistic work on April 12, during the 14th annual Penn State Mont Alto Academic Festival, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Multipurpose Activities Center (MAC). An awards ceremony will follow in the General Studies Building auditorium at 3:45 p.m. The public is invited to attend free or charge.
