The second Penn State Mont Alto Colloquy Series talk of the fall semester will be presented by Lecturer in Economics Mazhar Awan on Oct. 9. Titled “Is this Economy too Good to be True? What Economics has to Say About our Current State.” It is open to the public and free of charge.

Fun, safe Trunk-or-Treat at Penn State Mont Alto

On Oct. 31, Penn State Mont Alto’s Student Nursing Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) will host a safe alternative for trick-or-treaters with a Trunk-or-Treat on the campus. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the campus commuter parking lot. Local families are invited to participate.

New award to recognize student-athletes

A new award named after Penn State Mont Alto's longtime Director of Athletics Robert "Marty" Ogle will be presented annually to two current student-athletes, one male and one female, who have distinguished themselves throughout their Penn State Mont Alto careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletic prowess and leadership.
