MONT ALTO, Pa. — The Penn State Mont Alto Department of Athletics has announced that Chayse Fisher (Mercersburg, Pennsylvania / James Buchanan), Tyler Moreland (Spring Mills, West Virginia / Spring Mills), Clark Payne (Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia / Heritage Academy) and Hunter Reath (Mercersburg, Pennsylvania / James Buchanan) were named to the USCAA Spring All-Academic Team this week.

The USCAA All-Academic Team is awarded to student-athletes who must have 24 or more credits on their USCAA transcripts, and their cumulative grade point average must be a 3.50 or greater to be eligible for the recognition. In addition, junior pitcher Ethan Slusser (Hanover, Pennsylvania/ Delone Catholic) was selected as the team's John Fritz Sportsmanship Award winner. Named after former PSUAC Commissioner John Fritz, the sportsmanship award is given to one player from each team in the league who best displays the core values of the league and sportsmanship to teammates and opponents throughout the season.
