On March 30, the WITF documentaries "Mira Lloyd Dock: A Beautiful Crusade" and "Gifford Pinchot's Conservation Legacy" will provide the basis for a panel discussion about the history and future of conservation and how to develop conservation leaders for the 21st century. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the General Studies Building Auditorium at Penn State Mont Alto. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Funded in part by the William Penn Foundation, the event is sponsored by the Penn State Mont Alto Forest Technology Program, the Pennsylvania Parks & Forests Foundation, the Penn State Mont Alto Forestry Club, and the Keystone Chapter of the society of American Foresters.
