Description
This is an annual award that recognizes a faculty member who has demonstrated exceptional achievement in the area of research, creative accomplishments and scholarship during the previous calendar year. This award is presented during Commencement.
The Award
- $250 stipend
- Certificate
Eligibility
All full-time faculty will be eligible for the award. Winners of the award will not be eligible to receive the award again for a period of three years.
Criteria for Judging
Faculty member’s ability to demonstrate their Research, Creative Accomplishments and Scholarship.
Faculty member has not been award recipient for a period of three years.
Procedure
- Interested full-time faculty must:
- Complete the online application form (online form is located at the bottom of the page).
- Copy and paste the “Research, Creative Accomplishments and Scholarship” section of their most recent “Annual Faculty Activity Report” into the online application form.
- Selection committee will contact nominees if additional information is deemed necessary. The award will be made for research, creative accomplishments and scholarship achieved in the single year described by this material.
- Award is presented to faculty member at commencement.
Selection Committee
- 4 Faculty members (typically the three previous recipients plus one additional member selected from list of full-time faculty volunteers)
- Director of Academic Affairs (functioning as facilitator of committee)
Nomination Deadline
Nomination deadline for the 2024-2025 award season is March 28, 2025
