Eligibility
Nominee must be a resident assistant in good standing at Penn State Mont Alto in the year of nomination. Nominee should have completed at least one full semester as a resident assistant to be eligible.
Criteria for Judging

Created and maintained a safe and welcoming community for residential students
- Exhibited sound judgement and decision-making
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership in both the role of resident assistant and among the team
- Created an atmosphere of equity and inclusion to the residence hall and/or campus community
- Nominations should include why the nominee deserves to be chosen as Resident Assistant of the Year, and how their performance positively impacted and enhanced the residence hall and Penn State Mont Alto community
Procedure

Nominations accepted from any Mont Alto student, faculty, or staff member. Self-nominations also accepted.
- Nomination must include
- Nomination Rationale outlining the nominee’s qualifications for the award as they relate to established criteria (see below)
- Nomination Form (see below)

Nomination Deadline
Nomination deadline for the 2024-2025 award season will be posted in early Spring 2025.
